Founder and CEO
Since 2003, Grant has provided marketing, branding, and digital strategy services to businesses ranging from small startups to Fortune 100 companies. He has implemented innovative strategy and lead the execution of hundreds of digital campaigns and projects including app design/development, website design/development, HTML email campaigns, social media, corporate branding and more. As CEO of Workhorse, Grant is responsible for continuing our vision as an agency focused on combining experienced marketing professionals, creativity, and the latest technology to build strategies, tactics, and concepts that drive results for our clients.

Outside of the office, Grant enjoys spending time with his family and playing as much tennis as possible. He believes in growing his own company while giving back to the community, encouraging local development and sustainability. Along with his wife Melissa, Grant founded a company called Felt Tennis whose mission is to help children improve their lives through tennis.
Chief Operating Officer
Allie joined Workhorse in 2013. A born and raised Austinite, Allie graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Agricultural Economics with a minor in Business Administration. Allie has always loved working with people and found her passion for marketing in client-facing roles. She has held several positions at Workhorse including Accountant, Senior Account Producer, and VP of Client Development. Allie’s prior experience in HR, logistics, and accounting gives her a unique perspective of the marketing process. This helps her facilitate the operational side of Workhorse while implementing successful strategy for clients.

When she’s not working, Allie enjoys her HEAT bootcamp, spending time with her family and, with help from her son, has become quite the dinosaur expert.
Chief Strategy Officer
Guy joined Workhorse in 2016. He is a graduate of Texas State where he received his MFA in Communication. Guy has over 25 years of advertising, design, online and mobile design, brand development, strategy, and start-up experience that he leverages to help clients succeed. His diverse background as a brand development consultant, strategist, designer, and creative director gives him a unique perspective on generating successful messaging, design aesthetics, and brand communications. His client roster ranges from local to global brands in both the B2B and B2C markets. Guy leads the development and infusion of research, strategy, and positioning for Workhorse. He seamlessly fuses digital with traditional strategies, helping our team evolve and shape best practices.

In his spare time, Guy likes to backpack, paint, design and fabricate furniture, enjoy Italian reds, great food, and participates in shooting sports. He’s also founded a nonprofit to promote awareness of testicular cancer and a program giving underprivileged Scouts a life-changing, “high-adventure” backpacking experience.
Media Services Director
Megan has been with Workhorse since 2013. Graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Radio, Television and Film, she has a diverse background in the various media outlets as well as social media, digital advertising, marketing, and blogging. Megan currently heads up the Media Services Department, helping Workhorse continue to provide clients with efficient and productive means to reach and acquire the attention of their target audience.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys experiencing Austin with her friends, family, and pups.
Patrick became a part of the Workhorse team in 2013. He studied Communication Design at the University of North Texas and prior to Workhorse, he was a bass player in a skiffle band.
“I enjoy creating logical systems based on sound strategic rationale and a deep understanding of branding and human centered design.”
When he’s not running our design department, he enjoys printmaking and spending time with his family.
Chief Technology Officer
Thomas has been with Workhorse Marketing since 2007. He has a wealth of experience working in a number of digital technologies and fields. He has extensive experience with SEO, accessibility, UX, technical architecture, email marketing, information architecture, ecommerce, web development, and web design. He’s certified in UX and Google Analytics and works with a number of platforms such as WordPress, Magento, and Drupal. Thomas has managed small one-page sites all the way up to 8,000 SKU ecommerce platforms, allowing him to provide insights or solutions to any digital problem.

Thomas enjoys hanging out with his family and making delicious soy milk lattes.
Director of Development
Alex has been with Workhorse since 2012. He holds a BA in English from the University of Texas at Austin. Alex has extensive experience as a freelance developer and previously worked at Merrill Lynch, bettering their intranet. Alex manages the development department and is personally responsible for a lot of our in-house development.

Outside of work, Alex stays busy playing rock and roll in his local band, The Early Stages.
Jen joined Workhorse in 2017. She holds a BA from Texas State University in Mass Communication with a minor in Psychology. Before joining Workhorse, Jen was a Client Services Account Manager at Momentum ABM where she gained experience in Account Based Marketing campaigns working with pharmaceutical and technology companies. She also assisted several U.S. based businesses and startups with managing their media buying and planning, brand management, campaign development as well as client and project management. Jen is a results-driven brand strategist who specializes in creating and developing brands through insightful, multi-platform marketing campaigns.
“Everyday is different and no two accounts or projects are the same. Growing relationships with my clients and seeing the success of each campaign gives me a tremendous feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment.”
Outside of work, Jen’s hobbies are live music, camping, doing anything outdoors, enjoying a good glass of wine, and making memories with friends and family.
VP Client Strategy
Kyle joined the Workhorse team in 2019 and holds a Marketing degree from Texas State University San Marcos. Before joining Workhorse, he spent 7 years working with full-service marketing agencies and has helped a variety of clients, from mom-and-pop coffee shops to Fortune 100 companies. At Workhorse, Kyle’s responsibility is to analyze clients’ business requirements and challenges. He then brainstorms with Workhorse specialists to help build strategies aligned to each client’s long-term vision. He recognizes that selecting a marketing agency partner is a huge decision, so he delves deeply into each client’s marketing needs to ensure Workhorse is the perfect fit.

When not at work, Kyle enjoys spending his time with the non-profit, The Mankind Project, playing with his dogs at Zilker Park, and exploring Austin‘s newest restaurants with his wife, Sarah.
VP Digital Experience
Simon began his career in New York City where he produced visual and interactive designs for Fortune 500 and entertainment companies, launching multiple interactive agencies. Prior to joining Workhorse Marketing in 2018, Simon ran the Austin based agency sitegoals where he created websites, web/mobile apps, and more for over 15 years. As VP of Digital Experience, he leads exploration in frontier technologies like VR and AR that helps clients translate their vision for new digital products into powerful tools with exceptional UX.
“I enjoy bridging the gap between design and development, leveraging my experience of over 25 years in UX to solve complex problems for our clients.”
In his personal life, Simon is an accomplished illustrator, game designer, and avid kayak angler who enjoys live music, eating amazing food, and spending time with his family.
Adrian had been involved in application development for over 15 years before joining Workhorse in 2018. He has extensive experience in building web applications for social media, e-commerce, education, small businesses, entertainment, and the open source community. Adrian is also a Notary Public for the state of Texas and works on many of backend projects for Workhorse. He utilizes PHP frameworks like WordPress and Laravel in order to create websites that are accessible for clients.

When Adrian isn’t coding, he loves spending time with his son, watching him play video games.
Development Project Manager
Josh joined the Workhorse Marketing team in early 2019. He moved to Austin in 1992 to work in bicycle retail and later learned to develop frontend code, eventually spending three years working as a freelance web designer. From 2003 to 2018, Josh was a partner at a graphic design and web development firm. As a Development Project Manager with Workhorse, his primary role is to coordinate the efforts of all available development talent and resources, as well as evaluate timelines and project scopes. Josh’s end goal is to ensure that all development projects, email campaigns, and SEO implementations are held to the highest QA standards.
“After all of a project’s planning, design and development has been completed, I truly enjoy the moment when all of the pieces fall into place and something new and unique begins its life online.”
When not spending time with his wife and two adopted cats, Josh can typically be found in area venues performing in or watching bands, following professional road cycling, collecting music, and traveling as often as possible.
Angela has been with Workhorse since January 2016. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a BA in Psychology and a Business Administration minor. Prior to joining our team, Angela spent 9 years working for startups and helping them obtain double digit growth while exceeding customer expectations. At Workhorse, Angela fulfills all HR responsibilities including preparing weekly metrics for organizational health analysis, daily accounting functions, and maintaining client/vendor relationships.

Her favorite things to do outside of work are play with her two children and fur babies, and obnoxiously cheer for her beloved Aggies.
Senior Account Manager
Kira has been with Workhorse since 2014. She attended the University of Texas at Austin, earning a degree in Public Relations and a Business minor. Kira helps plan and manage marketing campaigns/projects, working closely with clients to help them determine and ultimately reach their goals. Kira collaborates with the strategy, design, and development teams at Workhorse to ensure every component is polished and aligns with the client’s unique objective.

Outside of work, Kira enjoys seeing live bands, traveling any chance she can and exploring the great city of Austin with her little pup, Hoku, in tow.
Teresa has been with Workhorse since 2015. She graduated from Oakland University, earning a BS in Management Information Systems. Her professional experience includes project, account, and quality assurance management. Teresa was also previously a web developer, so she enjoys the technical parts of being an Account Producer.
“I love collaborating with clients. I like taking their projects and requests and bringing them to life– whether it’s a website, interactive experience, app, or traditional print.”
When she isn’t hard at work, Teresa can be found watching her Detroit and Texas teams, drinking IPAs, spending time with her friends, or visiting her family in Michigan.
Workhorse gained Aly as a team member when Aha and Workhorse merged in January 2016. She is a Texas A&M University graduate with a BS in Marketing. Aly helps set the rhythm and tone for projects while working alongside strategy, design and development teams to make sure client needs are met.

When she’s not working, Aly enjoys being active and working out, from running to hiking to surfing. This is mainly to counteract her deep love for food.
Prior to joining Workhorse Marketing in 2018, Alan had been a designer in the creative industry for 20 years. He holds a degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia. Alan uses design to engage, empower, and educate across print, screen, and space. At Workhorse, he enjoys finding imaginative solutions for complex problems and polishing ideas.
“I find the greatest satisfaction in solving design problems that clients may have. The reward is creating something that clients can use to elevate their brand.”
Alan is originally from San Antonio and in his spare time enjoys tending to his urban farm, consisting of five adorable chickens.
Media Services Coordinator
Taylor joined Workhorse Marketing in 2017. She is a Texas A&M University graduate with a degree in Economics. Her previous experience includes project management, marketing, and sales for the software and oil and gas industries. At Workhorse, Taylor handles clients’ social media accounts and assists the media department with all print and digital needs.

Outside of work, Taylor enjoys anything active, traveling, and being the ultimate foodie.
Digital Advertising Specialist
Juan joined the Workhorse team in 2018. He holds a Marketing degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Juan has worked in the digital advertising field, in various agency environments, since 2012. At Workhorse, he helps rounds out the digital advertising part of the client’s strategy by executing and delivering advertising results.
“Digital advertising is always changing, so keeping up with it is a fun challenge. I also enjoy all of the problem solving!”
When not at work, Juan enjoys playing sports, watching movies, coaching for the UT soccer team, traveling, and eating.
A graduate of Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, Morgan has years of experience in digital marketing services ranging from website and content development to strategy design and implementation. As an Account Producer, Morgan ensures that clients get exactly what they need to succeed while creating exceptional work, whether it’s a new website, campaign, event, or ongoing marketing support.

In her free time, Morgan loves taking in all Austin has to offer by exploring dance classes, art galleries, live music venues, or finding a new favorite happy hour spot.
Jenna joined the Workhorse Marketing team in 2019. She started her degree at Texas Tech University but completed her BA in Mass Communication at Texas State. Jenna has been an Account Manager since 2010, starting at Edward Jones and then working at a boutique marketing agency that focused on higher education. At Workhorse, Jenna acts as a client advocate and liaison, always striving to successfully facilitate client goals and results.
“My favorite part of working in marketing is the problem solving. I’m passionate about helping clients achieve their goals and it’s always exciting and rewarding to be a part of that.”
When not helping clients, Jenna likes to spend time with her family and friends, catch live music shows, check out new spots to eat on the east side, volunteer, and play with her weenie dog, Fritz, and her cat, Carlos.
Amber joined Workhorse in 2018. She graduated from Texas Tech University with her MA in Creative Writing and has experience in development, editing, copywriting, and project management. Her prior job in a nonprofit’s development department sparked her interest in marketing and she is excited to cultivate this passion further. At Workhorse, Amber works in the strategy department, helping with anything from research, content development, strategy and more.

In her free time, Amber enjoys exploring Austin with her boyfriend and dog, completing DIY projects, and finding the best macarons.
