Founder and CEO
Since 2003, Grant has provided marketing, branding, and digital strategy services to businesses ranging from small startups to Fortune 100 companies. He has implemented innovative strategy and lead the execution of hundreds of digital campaigns and projects including app design/development, website design/development, HTML email campaigns, social media, corporate branding and more. As CEO of Workhorse, Grant is responsible for continuing our vision as an agency focused on combining experienced marketing professionals, creativity, and the latest technology to build strategies, tactics, and concepts that drive results for our clients.

Outside of the office, Grant enjoys spending time with his family and playing as much tennis as possible. He believes in growing his own company while giving back to the community, encouraging local development and sustainability. Along with his wife Melissa, Grant founded a company called Felt Tennis whose mission is to help children improve their lives through tennis.
Chief Technology Officer
Thomas has been with Workhorse Marketing since 2007. He has a wealth of experience working in a number of digital technologies and fields. He has extensive experience with SEO, accessibility, UX, technical architecture, email marketing, information architecture, ecommerce, web development, and web design. He’s certified in UX and Google Analytics and works with a number of platforms such as WordPress, Magento, and Drupal. Thomas has managed small one-page sites all the way up to 8,000 SKU ecommerce platforms, allowing him to provide insights or solutions to any digital problem.

Thomas enjoys hanging out with his family and making delicious soy milk lattes.
Director of Digital Services
Allie joined Workhorse in 2013. A born and raised Austinite, Allie graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Agricultural Economics with a minor in Business Administration. With prior experience in HR, logistics and accounting, Allie has always loved working with people and found her passion for web and marketing in client-facing roles. She has held several positions at Workhorse including Accountant, Senior Account Manager, VP of Client Strategy, and COO.
“I love that I get to interact with a wide variety of clients and team members every day. We all work together to develop creative and innovative ways to approach web and marketing.”
When she’s not working, Allie enjoys being active, spending time with her family and, with help from her sons, has become quite the Bigfoot expert.
Patrick became a part of the Workhorse team in 2013. He studied Communication Design at the University of North Texas and prior to Workhorse, he was a bass player in a skiffle band.
“I enjoy creating logical systems based on sound strategic rationale and a deep understanding of branding and human centered design.”
When he’s not running our design department, he enjoys printmaking and spending time with his family.
Director of Development
Alex has been with Workhorse since 2012. He holds a BA in English from the University of Texas at Austin. Alex has extensive experience as a freelance developer and previously worked at Merrill Lynch, bettering their intranet. Alex manages the development department and is personally responsible for a lot of our in-house development.

Outside of work, Alex stays busy playing rock and roll in his local band, The Early Stages.
Angela has been with Workhorse since January 2016. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a BA in Psychology and a Business Administration minor. Prior to joining our team, Angela spent 9 years working for startups and helping them obtain double digit growth while exceeding customer expectations. At Workhorse, Angela fulfills all HR responsibilities including preparing weekly metrics for organizational health analysis, daily accounting functions, and maintaining client/vendor relationships.

Her favorite things to do outside of work are play with her two children and fur babies, and obnoxiously cheer for her beloved Aggies.
VP of Marketing
A graduate of Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, Morgan has years of experience in digital marketing services ranging from website and content development to strategy design and implementation. As the VP of Marketing, Morgan works with the Marketing Team to ensure that clients get exactly what they need to succeed, whether it’s eye-catching branding, a reimagined marketing strategy, an in-depth audience communication analysis or ongoing marketing support.

The companies and organizations we serve do exceptional work, and there’s nothing better than seeing our services connect them with their customers in new and innovative ways.”
In her free time, Morgan loves taking in all Austin has to offer by exploring dance classes, art galleries, live music venues, or finding a new favorite happy hour spot.
Prior to joining Workhorse Marketing in 2018, Alan had been a designer in the creative industry for 20 years. He holds a degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia. Alan uses design to engage, empower, and educate across print, screen, and space. At Workhorse, he enjoys finding imaginative solutions for complex problems and polishing ideas.
“I find the greatest satisfaction in solving design problems that clients may have. The reward is creating something that clients can use to elevate their brand.”
Alan is originally from San Antonio and in his spare time enjoys tending to his urban farm, consisting of five adorable chickens.
Development Project Manager
Josh joined the Workhorse Marketing team in early 2019. He moved to Austin in 1992 and began learning how to develop frontend code, eventually spending four years as a freelance web designer. From 2003 to 2018, Josh was the managing partner in a design, branding, and web development firm. As a Development Project Manager with Workhorse, his primary role is to coordinate the efforts of available resources as well as ensure that all programming, email campaigns, and SEO implementations are held to high QA standards.

When not spending time with his wife and two adopted cats, Josh can typically be found in area venues performing in or watching bands, following professional road cycling, collecting music, and traveling as often as possible.
As a graduate from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, Beth has extensive experience in project management and specializes in digital projects. From strategy to implementation, she has been a part of all the steps in the digital atmosphere. Hailing from Minneapolis agencies, she brings different perspectives and strategies to the table. So if there is a project on her plate, rest easy, she will accomplish it with the team with efficiency and style.
“I have a passion and appreciation of marketing for the sole reason that it is the life to all business, from enterprise to mom and pop’s. Marketing is flexible and ever-changing. What’s there not to love?!”
If she is not looking at a Gantt chart or wireframes, you can find her in a yoga studio or cooking up a vegetarian meal for her husband and their two cats, Pepper and Cayenne.
Shelby became a part of the Workhorse team in 2020. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s in Public Relations. Prior to Workhorse, Shelby was a Marketing Coordinator at a preventive healthcare company and a public relations intern at Edelman in New York. She has also worked in government, technology and nonprofit industries.
“I love bringing our clients’ goals, ideas and dreams to life! Learning what makes their audience tick then using storytelling to bring them closer to the brand is exciting.”
In her free time, Shelby can be found playing with her dog and hedgehog, exploring the outdoors, or tending to her garden.
Neha joined the Workhorse team in 2021, and is currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin, studying Marketing and Entrepreneurship. She has experience in creating promotional content, running social media campaigns, and conducting marketing research.

Outside of work, Neha loves to play tennis, go on a hike, or explore new food places in Austin.
Dani is a marketing strategist with years of experience in journalism, digital marketing, and experiential events. A graduate of the University of Texas, Dani is happy to be back in ATX after 3 years in New York City working for Bloomberg TV and Havas, a global ad agency. She has always loved working with clients and connecting the dots between teams to deliver exceptional work, and ultimately, better brands and products.
“I love the intersection of human behavior and brand strategy. Effective marketing taps into the most human parts of consumers’ lives to provide genuine value and authentic experiences.”
When she’s offline, you can find her trying new recipes or playing co-ed soccer. Dani’s favorite place is outside watching the sunset, paddle boarding on Town Lake, or hiking through the Hill Country.
