DC BLOX is aggressively growing with four data center locations and another 16 planned across the Southwestern United States. Each data center is interconnected with DC BLOX’s high-speed, fiber-optic network, which enables a variety of use cases, including business continuity, disaster recovery, content delivery, IoT and mobile applications.
In order to prepare for early investor commitments and eventual customer acquisition, DC BLOX needed to build a strong brand foundation, followed by a wide range of marketing assets to help connect with each audience and unite internal staff.
Workhorse Marketing’s first step was to develop a branding strategy uniquely positioning DC BLOX in the market place. A brand toolkit was developed mapping positioning, message hierarchy and a visual identity system for their target audiences.
Utilizing the new brand foundation, we then moved into creating a long list of assets ranging from a new website to sales collateral, trade show materials, identity materials, grand opening events, building signage, interior design and more.
What We Did
DC BLOX continues to meet their market development and investment goals, including $37 million in new equity and debt funding in 2018, completing its Series B financing for a total capitalization of more than $53 million. 4 out of 20 planned locations are up and running with the others in their sights.
