Our Marketing Goals
Founded in 1912, the Capitol Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America supports Scouting programs in 15 Central Texas counties including Bastrop, Blanco, Gillespie and Travis. The Boy Scouts’ goal is to prepare every eligible youth in America to become a responsible, participating citizen and leader who is guided by the Scout Oath and Law.
Every year, CACBSA holds its Sporting Clays Classic to raise funds to supplement the organization’s scholarships and other activities.
In 2017, Workhorse provided an in-kind sponsorship to: Enhance the experience for participants and sponsors, increase overall donations — especially from corporate sponsors, and raise the profile of the CACBSA.


Our Solution
The Workhorse team created a new logo for the event that helps establish the Sporting Clays Classic as a respected shooting event along with several new materials to add value to the event including:
Brand standards, fonts and color palette
Branding materials such as flyers, programs, scorecards and signage
Hats and t-shirts

What We Did

Results
The event was a huge success—especially when compared to 2016 and previous years. We were able to help the organization:
Raise more than $120,000 — a 50% increase over 2016
Retain all existing sponsors from 2016 while adding new sponsors resulting in over $22,000 in additional donations
Sold 40% more teams than in 2016
Improve the image and overall experience for the participants and sponsors
Enhance the sponsorship recognition program to improve renewals for 2018
