This multi-faceted project challenged Workhorse Marketing to develop a family of websites for three exclusive dining concepts – Uchi, Uchiba, and Uchiko – three premier sushi experiences with exclusive dining concepts. Geared towards diners in Austin, Houston, and Dallas who demand high-quality fare, the sites had to reflect the freshness of the innovative sushi menus while creating a cohesive image across all three locations.
Leveraging our team’s deep expertise in website development along with our great partners Unfettered (strategy) and The Graphic Standard (design), we have provided Hai Hospitality with a cutting-edge online presence that accurately reflects the brand’s prestigious reputation as one of the premier destinations for top-quality sushi.
What we did
With a menu subject to change at any given time, the websites for this family of restaurants needed a digital presence as vibrant and cutting-edge as the food selection itself. Workhorse Marketing developed a multi-site template, allowing the brands to share common elements while maintaining their identities and unique features. The sites include integrations with SevenRooms – an interactive seating management tool – and Tripleseat, with customizations to increase the number of online reservations and make it a truly Uchi experience.
We made sure the user experience was top-notch, utilizing animations to enhance the interactivity of the site. Additionally, we created an optimized measurement strategy that allowed multiple managers to access and update the necessary information quickly and easily, without interfering with other pages on the site. On the backend, we used coding languages and a complex operating system to make sure everything worked seamlessly together, while also making sure it was mobile optimized for a more convenient user experience. Finally, we implemented SEO best practices to ensure that users could easily find each website in search engine results. All of these efforts combined resulted in a website that not only elevated the brand but provided customers with an enjoyable browsing experience as well.
The development of this new site has allowed Uchi, Uchiko, and Uchiba to keep their customers aware of menu changes and showcase their chefs’ keen ability to present the freshest seafood in the most elevated culinary styles.
